Jon
21 years ago, Founder Jon French had a vision for a unique and compassionate approach to hearing health after graduating from George Brown College’s Hearing Instrument Specialist Program. The philosophy of the Clinic remains the same today. Boasting 2800 patients at present, referrals from friends and family continue to grow this patient base.

Abby assisted in opening Essential Hearing Services 21 years ago with founder Jon French. Their commitment to offering the highest quality of hearing care, the latest technology, and affordable pricing continues as the Clinic’s principles today. Abby has a degree in Psychology (Honours), with 36 years of working with clinics in sensory processes. She has become an expert at working with government agencies for funding for her patients. Abby is active in the swimming and cycling communities.

Lauren
Lauren grew up locally and knows the community like back roads. Combining a background in health care and specialty knowledge, Lauren completed the Hearing Instrument Specialist program with Honours. She enjoys working for an independent local clinic to help her patients on their hearing journey. As Head Clinician for 6 years, Lauren has developed a straightforward approach to solving hearing problems and educating patients. Her equestrian sport, gardening, and baking refill her cup.

She additionally graduated with Honours from the Humber College Hearing Instrument Specialist program.
